From die-hard fan to cheering in front of the stands, being an Arizona Cardinals Cheerleader is a dream come true!
I started dancing at the age of two and started cheering when I was five years old. Back then I would start twitching to the beat when I would hear music, and not much has changed! Dancing and performing soothes my soul. I grew up with three older brothers and would occasionally hang up my dancing shoes to throw on some cleats. Although it was originally my aspiration to be the quarterback my inability to see over the line brought me to the sidelines in another way.
I continued to dance and cheer competitively and then in high school I joined the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders as a graduating high school senior. I have always been driven and an over-achiever my entire life. My dad inspired me to conquer my dreams and my mom has supported my quest to leave an impact on the world. I am forever grateful for my family and for my Cardinals family.
Throughout my four seasons I have attended the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication to obtain a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Leadership and Ethics. To say I like to wear many hats is an understatement. From student, to motivational speaker, to life coach, to entrepreneur, and breaking news/ general anchoring and reporting, I have too many jobs to classify my work as one occupation. Though I intend to eventually take over for Oprah, I plan to start the ripple effect in the meantime.
There are moments that move you, that change you and that stick with you forever. I will never forget the bonds, charity events, military tours and growth this organization enabled me to experience. I am so grateful and feel very blessed. This dream come true is even better shared with you. Let’s go Big Red!
