I am the oldest of 4 in my family and I’m a proud big sister. My parents have been my greatest cheerleaders and they never cease to motivate me and continue striving for what I set my mind to. They are the reason I am here today. I feel amazing and blessed to have been given the opportunity to be part of such a great organization and share the field for the first time as a rookie with all the other talented and beautiful women.
I was born and raised in the state of California, but I am now a proud resident in the sunny state of Arizona. After high school, I went to Arizona State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, graduated cum laude, and most importantly passed my state boards to become a Registered Nurse.
I currently work as a behavioral health technician where I am given the privilege to work with children who have autism, a delay in development, and behavior issues. It is truly a blessing to see my clients grow on a daily basis, even if it is an accomplishment as simple as saying “thank-you”, watching them laugh, or asking to hold my hand.
With that being said, I enjoy giving to the community, especially minorities and children, and I am really looking forward to being a part of the charity events and community service the team has to offer. Like Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
When I don’t have my dancing shoes on, I like to spend time with my Shih Tzu, my family, and my boyfriend and his family; whether its barbequing on Saturdays, playing aggravation, or simply laying on the couch watching my favorite show, “Friends,” it is always a blast.
I enjoy hiking, camping, dancing, shopping, and cooking breakfast because it’s my favorite meal of the day. I would describe myself as compassionate, outgoing, determined, bilingual, and a proud Latina.
I’m a sucker for baked goodies and desserts, especially chocolate chip cookies and samoas with a glass of milk. My favorite movie is “Big Daddy” because I love to laugh, and my favorite day of the year would be November 4th because that is when my boyfriend, of 7 years, and I started dating.
This is truly a dream come true, thanks to the support of my loving family and boyfriend, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
Now, who’s ready for some football?
