Founded in 1990, Cardinals Charities supports programs designed to improve the quality of life and enhance opportunities for children, women, and minorities in the state of Arizona.
Cardinals Charities' grants are awarded on an annual basis in response to applications from various qualified non-profit organizations whose goals and programs align with the mission statement.
Since its inception, Cardinals Charities has distributed more than 10.8 million dollars to hundreds of worthy charitable organizations on behalf of the Arizona Cardinals and the National Football League.

License Plates

The largest source of donations for Cardinals charities is from the purchase of Arizona Cardinals specialty license plates. An Arizona Cardinals license plate costs just 25 dollars, 17 of which goes directly to Cardinals Charities. License plates are a great way to support both your team and your community!

Merchandise

Merchandise

Cardinals Charities also receive the proceeds merchandise sold year round on the Cardinals auction site (click below to visit now), as well as in-person historical merchandise sales at events throughout the year; the largest of which takes place at the Cardinals annual Red & White Practice.

General Guidelines for Beneficiaries

  • Organizations must be exempt under 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code
  • At least 75 percent of funding must be spent in Arizona
  • Grant application will be limited to once each year; however, organizations may reapply each year
