Roberts is The Citadel’s record-holder for career catches (285), receiving yards (3,743) and punt return yards (1,160), although he will have to prove he can perform consistently against a higher level of competition.
The Cards still have a little more than two weeks to get Washington, Schofield and Williams under contract.
Players arrive in Flagstaff the afternoon of July 30 to check in for training camp.
