Docu-series about Cardinals' 2015 season takes home prestigious award

On the red carpet before Tuesday's awards (from left), Cardinals VP of media relations Mark Dalton, NFL Films producer Ross Ketover, NFL Films producer Steve Trout, NFL Films producer Keith Cossrow, NFL Films producer Jay Jackson, Cardinals senior producer Jonathan Hayward, Cardinals president Michael Bidwill, Cardinals VP of broadcast/digital Tim DeLaney and Cardinals senior manager of broadcast/producer Richard Mendez.

The 2015 Cardinals didn’t get the win at the end that they sought, but the series documenting that season did.

All or Nothing: A Season with the Arizona Cardinals” captured a Sports Emmy Tuesday night in the category of Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary during a ceremony in New York.

The eight episodes, an Amazon Original series produced by NFL Films, chronicled the Cards from an initial offseason meeting all the way through their loss in the NFC Championship game. The series featured rare footage inside meeting rooms and capturing normally private conversations, showing the inner workings of an NFL team.

It debuted in the summer of 2016 on Amazon, and can still be found there under an Amazon Prime subscription. The NFL Network has also recently aired the episodes.

Attending the ceremony were team president Michael Bidwill and three key members of the production that work for the team: vice president of broadcasting/digital Tim DeLaney, senior manager of broadcast/producer Richard Mendez and senior producer Jonathan Hayward.

“All or Nothing” beat out four other nominees in the category: “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Los Angeles Rams” (HBO), “Undrafted” (NFL Network), “Run Mama Run” (, and “Friday Night Tykes: Steel Country” (Esquire Network).
