    Blaine Gabbert started the game slowly, throwing a pair of interceptions in the first quarter, including one on the Cardinals' first offensive play. The second was returned for a touchdown by Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree.

    The Cardinals had a pair of kicks blocked. Rams defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker blocked an extra point in the first quarter and defensive end Michael Brockers got his hand on a field goal attempt in the fourth.

    Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald became the fastest player to record 1,200 receptions with a 15-yard grab in the second quarter. He later passed Isaac Bruce for fourth-place on the all-time receiving yardage list.

   RB Kerwynn Williams

      With Adrian Peterson inactive, Kerwynn Williams handled most of the load for the running backs. Williams, who played with fractured ribs, endured a lot of contact on his way to 97 yards on 16 carries.


Who Was Wired




One thing I never question is the effort our guys give. We had a good week of preparation and effort was fine. These guys played their tails off; we just didn't execute well enough to beat them today.
