University of Phoenix Stadium Again Named Top NFL Venue

Tempe, AZ – Street & Smith’s Sportsbusiness Journal and Sports Business Daily recently presented the results from their third annual SBJ/SBD Readers Survey on the state of the sports industry and for the second straight year, University of Phoenix Stadium was named the top venue in the National Football League.

University of Phoenix Stadium, which opened in August of 2006, took the title of best NFL facility from historic Lambeau Field last year and those two venues were again ranked one and two in 2007.

14.6% University of Phoenix Stadium (Arizona Cardinals)
13.4% Lambeau Field (Green Bay Packers)
9.3% Gillette Stadium (New England Patriots)
7.0% Qwest Field (Seattle Seahawks)
6.5% Reliant Stadium (Houston Texans)

In two months, University of Phoenix Stadium will host the biggest event in sports when Super Bowl XLII is played there on February 3.
