University of Phoenix Stadium is the Official Stadium Name

Tempe, AZ – University of Phoenix Stadium became the official name of the Arizona Cardinals home venue when it was unanimously approved today by the board of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority.

The 20-year deal worth $7.7 million annually was announced on September 26 and became official following the vote at this afternoon's AZSTA board meeting.
