Biography

College Career:

Started 25 of 48 games at San Diego State, recording 146 receptions for 2,242 yards (15.3 yard avg.) and 18 TDs … ranks 11th in school history in receptions, 10th in receiving TDs and ninth in receiving yards … over his final two seasons, totaled 129 receptions for 2,071 yards and 16 TDs … missed the 2006 and 2007 season due to a foot injury suffered in 2006 fall camp.

2010: Earned All-Mountain West Conference first-team honors and was named All-American honorable mention by Sports Illustrated after starting all 13 games … finished his final season with a career-best 67 receptions for 1,220 yards (18.2 avg.) and eight TDs, ranking second in the MWC in receptions and second in the conference (10thnationally) in receiving yards ... posted six contests with more than 100 yards receiving ... registered a reception in 27 consecutive outings to close out his career … registered second 100-yard receiving game of the season and third of his career with four catches for 106 yards in the upset of No. 23 Air Force ... named MWC offensive player of the week after a seven-catch, 175-yard receiving performance at Wyoming, scoring on receptions of 56 and 59 yards …  totaled a season-high 12 catches for 154 yards against Utah to eclipse 1,000 yards for the season.

 

2009: Garnered second-team all-conference accolades after starting all 12 games and leading the team with 62 receptions for 851 yards and eight TDs ... recorded first career multi-TD effort vs. No. 18 BYU, catching one TD for seven yards and another for 36 yards ... had breakout game of his career at Colorado State, totaling 15 receptions for 257 yards and three TDs to help the team rally from a 14-point halftime deficit; marked seventh most receptions in school history and was the 10th highest single game total nationally in 2009; 257 yards set a MWC record in a league game and was third-best in the nation in 2009 ... earned MWC co-offensive player of the week and was one of four up for AT&T All-America Football Player-of-the-Week honors ... totaled a team-high eight receptions for 81 yards and one TD against TCU, marked fourth straight game with a TD reception.

 

2008: Saw action in 11 games, serving as a reserve WR as well as a punt and kick returner … totaled 111 yards on 11 receptions with one TD … registered 110 yards on seven kick returns with a long of 27 and recorded two punts for two yards … in first action since injuring his foot in fall camp in 2006, returned first two career punts and kickoffs at Notre Dame … scored first TD since 2005, a six-yard reception in the first quarter vs. UNLV.

 

2007: Missed his second consecutive year recovering from a foot injury ... named scout team co-offensive player of the year.

 

2006: Did not play after injuring his left foot in fall camp.

 

2005: One of just two true freshmen to earn a letter in 2005 and was the only true freshman to appear in all 12 contests ... finished year with six receptions for 60 yards and a TD ... tallied six tackles on special teams ... registered two tackles on special teams at Utah ... recorded first career TD reception, which went for 23 yards, in the win vs. San Jose State.
