NoteCARDS:
•    At 6-7 and nearly 400 pounds during his senior season at LSU, was one of the biggest players in college football and the biggest player to ever wear the Tigers uniform.
•    Remains the largest baby ever born in the state of Louisiana, weighing in at 15 pounds and 14 ounces. Stood 6-foot-5 by the time he was 14 years old and the coaching staff at Denton High School gave him the nickname “House.”
Pro Career:
Selected by the Cardinals in the fifth-round (167th overall) in the 2009 NFL Draft and was inactive for every contest as a rookie.

2009: Inactive for all 16 regular season games and both postseason contests.

College:
Started the final 38 of 52 contests that he appeared in for the Tigers, including 35 at left guard and three others at right guard … during his junior and senior seasons, allowed only four QB pressures and 3.5 sacks on 833 pass plays … All-American first-team selection by the Associated Press as a senior in ‘08, adding second-team honors from The Sporting News and the Walter Camp Foundation … all-SEC first-team choice by the league’s coaches and Associated Press … started all 13 games at LG … All-SEC first-team selection by the Associated Press and the league’s coaches as a junior … started all 14 games at LG and allowed just one QB pressure and no sacks on 442 pass plays … appeared in 12 games and started each of the final 10 during his sophomore season … lined up at RG vs. Mississippi and Tulane before shifting to LG for the final eight games … played in 11 games, starting at RG vs. Vanderbilt during his freshman season in 2005 … enrolled at LSU in ‘04, but was granted a medical hardship due to an infection that developed in his big toe after being bitten by a spider.

Personal:
Full name Herman Johnson III … attended Denton (TX) High School where he was a standout offensive tackle, earning all-district first-team honors as a junior, and All-State first-team accolades in his final year … Denton, TX is also the hometown of Cardinals strength and conditioning coach John Lott … during his senior season, the almost 400-pound lineman was a member of the Texas Top 100 and Midlands Sweet 66 squads … did not allow a sack as a senior in 2003, before going on to excel at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl … due to his size, was nicknamed “House” by his coaches and teammates.
