Pro Career: Originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick (121st overall) of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2010 NFL Draft. Released on 8/31/12 and claimed off waivers by the Oakland Raiders on 9/1/12. Released by Oakland on 8/26/13. Signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on 5/14/14.

2011: Appeared in 14 games and totaled 18 tackles, nine special teams tackles and three passes defensed … recorded first tackle of the season vs. NYG (9/25) … inactive @ Was (10/16) and vs. Dal (10/30) … collected three tackles @ NYG (11/20) … had 14 tackles and three passes defensed in final four games of the season … posted season-high five tackles @ Dal (12/24) and then matched that with five solo tackles in regular season finale vs. Was (1/1/12).

2010: Played in seven games with one start as a rookie, collecting 11 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defensed … also had a career-best 13 special teams tackles … inactive for the first seven games … made NFL debut and had first career tackle vs. Ind (11/7) … recorded one tackle and first career forced fumble vs. NYG (11/21) … inactive (hamstring) @ NYG (12/19) and vs. Min (12/28) … made first career start and posted a career-high eight tackles and a pass defensed in regular season finale vs. Dal (1/2/11) … in postseason debut, had a tackle and an eight-yard sack of Aaron Rodgers in Wild Card game vs. GB (1/9/11).

College: Recorded 185 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, six sacks, three INTs, eight forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 54 games (28 starts) at Oklahoma … was honorable mention All-Big 12 as a senior in 2009 when he finished fourth on the team with 75 tackles in 13 games (12 starts) … led all LBs with two INTs and five passes defensed and had 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery … named second-team all-conference by the San Antonio Express-News and honorable mention by the coaches and media as a junior … started all 14 games and set a school record with six forced fumbles … also recorded career highs with 84 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks and added one INT, nine passes defensed and a fumble recovery … was a reserve defensive back his first two years before moving to linebacker in spring of 2008 … tied for team lead with 12 special teams tackles while playing in all 14 games as a sophomore … started two games at strong safety and played in all 13 games as a freshman in 2006, totaling 14 tackles … redshirted in 2005.

Personal: Attended Sulphur Springs (TX) High School where he collected 120 tackles and four INTs as a senior … rated the No.3 safety in the nation by Rivals.com and No. 4 by Scout.com … also spent time at running back … played centerfield and shortstop for the baseball team … majored in Multidisciplinary Studies.
