Biography
Pro Career:
Drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth-round (116th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft, Iwebema has appeared in 31 games and all six postseason contests in his first three seasons.
2010: Played in seven games before being placed on injured reserve (knee) on 11/9 … recorded one tackle as a reserve defensive lineman in the season opener @ StL (9/12) … after being limited in practice (knee) during the week, recorded one tackle @ Atl (9/19) … tied for the team lead with two QB pressures vs. Oak (9/26) … registered first special teams tackle of the season @ SD (10/3) … inactive (knee) vs. NO (10/10) … after being limited in practice due to a knee injury, saw action on defense and special teams but did not record any statistics @ Sea (10/24) … saw time on defense and special teams before a knee injury forced him to leave the game at the beginning of the third quarter @ Min (11/7).
2009: After having a benign, baseball-sized tumor removed from his chest in the spring, made it back for training camp and played in 11 regular season games as well as both playoff contests … injured his ankle in the first quarter vs. SF (9/13) and was inactive (ankle) for the next three games … registered first career sack @ Sea (10/18); sack came on 3rd-n-goal on the AZ three yard-line, forcing Seattle to kick a FG in the second quarter … recorded a career-high two special teams tackles @ NYG (10/25) … inactive (knee) vs. Car (11/1) … returned from knee injury to register one tackle and one special teams tackle @ Chi (11/8) … tied career-high with two special teams tackles vs. Min (12/6) … recorded second career sack @ Det (12/20) … inactive (head) for the regular season finale vs. GB (1/3/10) … saw time on defense and special teams in both postseason games but did not record any statistics.
