Biography

Pro Career:
Originally drafted in the sixth-round (201st overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, was released on 9/1/07. Claimed off waivers by Kansas City on 9/2/07 and went on to play in six games. Released by the Chiefs on 8/31/08 and signed to the Giants practice squad on 9/3/08 before being released on 10/22/08. Re-signed to the Giants’ practice squad on 10/24/08. Elevated to New York’s active roster on 12/30/08 and was inactive for the Divisional Playoff game vs. Philadelphia (1/11/09). Released by the Giants on 6/19/09. Acquired off waivers by the Jets on 6/25/09 but was released during final cuts on 9/5/09. Signed to Arizona’s practice squad on 9/8/09, where he spent the remainder of the season. Signed by the Cardinals to a future contract for the 2010 season on 1/18/10.
2009: After spending time with the Giants and Jets during the off-season, signed to Arizona’s practice squad on 9/8, where he spent the remainder of the season.

2008: Released by the Chiefs on 8/31 … signed to the New York Giants practice squad on 9/3 before being released on 10/22 … re-signed to the Giants’ practice squad on 10/24 … elevated to New York’s active roster on 12/30 … inactive for the Divisional Playoff game vs. Phi (1/11/09).

2007: Registered nine special teams tackles in six games played for Kansas City after being claimed off waivers from Philadelphia on 9/2 … recorded one special teams tackle in first NFL game vs. Jax (10/7), becoming the first player from the University of Albany to play in a NFL game … registered career-high three special teams tackles vs. Ten (12/16) and @ NYJ (12/30).

College:
Played one season of football at Albany and started 10 games, registering 37 tackles (26 solo), three INTs, and three passes defensed … walked onto the football team in August 2006 as a fifth-year senior … named Mid-Major All-America by Football Gazette … in two seasons as an outfielder on Albany's baseball team, batted .288 with 3 HRs, 24 RBI, and 29 stolen bases in 79 games … also played baseball at Hudson Valley Community College (Troy, NY) and helped his team to the 2004 conference championship game.
