Pro Career:

Originally entered the NFL as a third-round selection (95th overall) of the Oakland Raiders in the 2012 NFL Draft. Signed with Houston as an unrestricted free agent on 3/10/16 and was released by the Texans on 4/13/17. Signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on 5/3/17.

2016: Saw action in 15 regular season games and both postseason matchups for the Texans … played mostly on special teams … saw brief action on the offensive line in the season opener vs. Chi (9/11) and in Week 4 vs. Ten (10/2).

2013: Spent the season on Injured Reserve after suffering a foot injury in training camp.

2012: During his rookie season in Oakland, appeared in nine games and made one start at right guard … DNP in five games and was inactive for two others … made his NFL debut on special teams @ Atl (10/14) … saw his first action along the offensive line @ Bal (11/11), playing most of the fourth quarter … served as a blocking TE and helped RB Marcel Reece totaled 103 yards rushing vs. NO (11/18) … again served as a blocking TE vs. KC (12/16) as the Raiders piled up 203 rushing yards against the Chiefs, including 110 yards from RB Darren McFadden … saw action as a blocking TE and then played the final two series of the game at RG @ Car (12/23) … made his first career start at RG in the season finale @ SD (12/30).

College:

Played in 48 games in four seasons at Utah, starting the final 38 contests at right tackle … as a senior in 2011, started 12 games and was named first-team All-Pac-12 after grading a team-high and career-best 85 percent for blocking consistency … a junior in 2010 started all 13 games at right tackle and was named second-team All-Mountain West Conference by the league’s coaches and media … graded out at 83 percent after posting 15 TD resulting blocks and 48 knockdowns … part of an offensive line that ranked 13th nationally after allowing just 12 total sacks … as a sophomore in 2009, was named Academic All-Conference and also started all 13 games at right tackle … produced 41 knockdown blocks and 12 TD resulting blocks as the Utes averaged 389.5 yards per game … returned from his LDS mission and saw action in 12 games as a freshman in 2008 … named to the Honor Roll and was Academic All-Conference as a freshman.

Personal:

Attended Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT) High School where he earned All-State honors as a senior in 2004 … also named Region III Player of the Year and team Most Valuable Player … helped lead the team to the state playoffs three straight years, including the state finals as a sophomore and junior and the semi-finals as a senior … also lettered three years in basketball and twice in track … three-time Honor Roll student and an Academic All-State pick … brother-in-law is NFL DE/LB Paul Kruger … majored in Chemical Engineering.
