  • Signed a two-year contract as an unrestricted free agent with the Cardinals on 3/10/16 after spending first eight NFL seasons with Oakland (2008-14) and Kansas City (2015).
  • Played in 91 games (68 starts) and totaled 501 tackles, nine sacks, five INTs, 23 passes defensed, five fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, three defensive TDs and 18 special teams tackles.
  • Named a Pro Bowl alternate in 2011.

2014: Recorded 29 tackles, one sack and one pass defensed in three starts before suffering season-ending foot injury … had a sack in season opener @ NYJ (9/7) and tied career high with 12 tackles vs. Hou (9/14) … posted second straight double-digit tackle game with 10 stops @ NE (9/21) … fractured foot against the Patriots and was placed on injured reserve on 9/24.

2013: Started first two games before suffering ankle injury that ended his season … had five tackles and a sack, all in the season opener @ Ind (9/8) … left game vs. Jax (9/15) with ankle injury … inactive for the next 11 games and was placed on injured reserve on 12/14.

2012: Started 14 games after re-signing with Raiders as the team’s franchise player … collected 94 tackles, one INT and three passes defensed … had 10 tackles in 34-31 victory vs. Pit (9/23) … made a TD-saving tackle of Willis McGahee @ Den (9/30); helped hold Broncos to a FG on the drive … recorded first INT of the season in second quarter @ Atl (10/14) … notched 11 tackles vs. TB (11/4) … inactive (neck) vs. NO (11/18), ending streak of 57 consecutive starts that dated back to 2009 season opener … tied career high with 12 tackles vs. Cle (12/2) … help Oakland record 15-0 shutout vs. KC (12/16); held Chiefs to just 119 total yards, the lowest by a Raiders opponent since 1975 … inactive (ankle) in season finale @ SD (12/30).

2011: For the third consecutive season, started all 16 games and led the team in tackles (106) … also had one sack, one INT, four passes defensed and a fumble recovery while returning two kickoffs for 31 yards … named a Pro Bowl alternate … recovered Knowshon Moreno’s fumble to help set up a FG in season opener @ Den (9/12) … blocked Rian Lindell’s 39-yard FG attempt on the last play of the first half @ Buf (9/18) … recorded season-best 10 tackles and picked off Mark Sanchez pass in the end zone vs. NYJ (9/25) … sacked Caleb Hanie for a 10-yard loss vs. Chi (11/27).

2010: Started every game for the second straight year and posted a team-leading 102 tackles … tied for the NFL lead among defensive backs with a career-high four sacks and added one INT, two passes defensed, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries (one returned for TD) … sacked Sam Bradford for an 11-yard loss vs. StL (9/19) … recovered a Philip Rivers fumble with one minute left in the game and returned it 64 yards for his first career TD vs. SD (10/10); TD sealed the Raiders 35-27 victory … recovered Kyle Orton’s fumble to help set up a TD @ Den (10/24) … registered a sack and INT of Matt Hasselbeck vs. Sea (10/31); INT led to an Oakland TD on the next play … forced a fumble @ Pit (11/21) … notched season-high 11 tackles and had a sack of Chad Henne vs. Mia (11/28) … picked up his fourth sack of the season when he brought down Matt Cassel for a 12-yard loss in the season finale @ KC (1/2/11).

2009: Started all 16 games for the first time and led all NFL defensive backs with a career-high 119 tackles … also set career bests with eight passes defensed, two forced fumbles and five special teams tackles … made first career start and had nine tackles in season opener vs. SD (9/14) … forced a Thomas Jones fumble in the second quarter vs. NYJ (10/25), his first career forced fumble … posted a career-high 12 tackles and registered the first sack of his career vs. Cin (11/22), taking down Carson Palmer for a 12-yard loss in the second quarter; also forced a fumble that was recovered by Oakland … collected 11 tackles, including a victory-sealing stop of Tony Scheffler on the game’s final play @ Den (12/20).
