Pro Career:
Began his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers who selected him in the first round (19th overall) of the 1998 NFL Draft. After spending his first five seasons with the Packers, signed with Kansas City Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent on 4/8/03. Played two seasons with the Chiefs before signing with the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent on 3/7/05. After four seasons with the Dolphins, was released and signed with the Denver Broncos on 9/5/09. Played one year with Denver and then signed with the Washington Redskins as an unrestricted free agent on 5/17/10. Acquired by the Cardinals in a trade that sent RB Tim Hightower to Washington on 7/31/11.
2011: Played in all 16 games for the eighth time in 14 NFL seasons and recorded 16 tackles and one pass defensed … played on defense and had one unassisted tackle in first game with the Cardinals vs. Car (9/11) … collected two tackles and one pass defensed @ Was (9/18) … played in his 190th career game and had one unassisted tackle vs. StL (11/6) … had two unassisted tackles @ SF (11/20) … recorded one unassisted tackle @ StL (11/27) … collected one tackle for loss and had one QB hit vs. SF (12/11) … posted a season-high five unassisted tackles, including a team-leading three tackles for loss and one QB hit vs. Sea (1/1/12).
2010: Played in 15 games and made two starts in his only season with the Redskins … totaled 42 tackles, 2.5 sacks and four passes defensed … notched seven tackles and a half-sack vs. Hou (9/19) … inactive @ Phi (10/3), the only game he missed during the ’10 season … had two tackles and a pass defensed vs. GB (10/10), helping the Redskins defeat the eventual Super Bowl champions … collected four tackles vs. Ind (10/17) … posted a sack @ Ten (11/21) … recorded three tackles vs. TB (12/12) … registered six tackles and a sack @ Dal (12/19) … posted a season high eight tackle while starting @ Jax (12/26) … started in the season finale vs. NYG (1/2/11) and finished with four tackles.
2009: Played in all 16 games with three starts in only season with Denver … recorded 33 tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles … notched his first sack as a Bronco vs. Dal (10/4) … had three tackles and a sack vs. NE (10/11) … collected a season-high five tackles @ Was (11/15) … had four tackles vs. SD (11/22) … registered four tackles and a sack vs. Oak (12/20).
2008: Played in all 16 games with 15 starts … also started in Miami’s lone postseason contest … registered 46 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed … posted a season-high seven tackles vs. Bal (10/19) … had 1.5 sacks in consecutive games, vs. Sea (11/9) and vs. Oak (11/16) … capped off the regular season with six tackles @ NYJ (12/28), helping the Dolphins clinch the AFC East title … started and had one tackle in the Wild Card game vs. Bal (1/4/09).
