Saw action in 29 games with 10 starts in three years at Texas A&M … played in all 13 games as a fifth-year senior in ’12 and totaled 23 tackles and one sack … also had four passes defensed and two QB hits … started the first three games and had two tackles in ’11 before suffering a season-ending injury, receiving a medical redshirt … made the switch from nose guard to defensive end during spring practice prior to the ’11 season … played in all 13 games in his first season with Texas A&M in ’10 … earned the starting job at nose guard by midseason and started the last seven games of the year … had a career-best 41 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, and added a forced fumble with a pass defensed … began his college career at Blinn College (Brenham, TX) … earned SuperPrep JUCO 100 honors as a sophomore in ’09 after recording 34 tackles … helped lead team to NJCAA national championship … had 37 tackles, including five for loss and three sacks as a freshman in ’08
