  • Acquired in a trade on 9/4/15 from the Eagles for a conditional seventh round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft; Barkley is part of Cards QB group that includes fellow USC alum Carson Palmer.

Pro Career: Originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick (98th overall) of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2013 NFL Draft. Traded to the Cardinals in exchange for a conditional seventh round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft on 9/4/15.

2015: Acquired in a trade from the Eagles at the conclusion of the preseason; served as No. 3 QB and was inactive for all 16 regular season games and both playoff contests.

2014: Played in one game while serving as a backup QB … inactive as the third QB the first eight games … saw only action of the season vs. Car (11/10), throwing one incompletion and rushing three times for no yards … active but DNP in final seven games.

2013: Appeared in three games as a rookie, completing 30-of-49 pass attempts for 300 yards and four INTs … inactive as No. 3 QB the first five games and DNP in the sixth game … made NFL debut vs. Dal (10/20), coming on for the injured Nick Foles and going 11-of-20 for 129 yards and three INTs … saw action the next week vs. NYG (10/27) after Michael Vick left the game injured; completed 17-of-26 passes for 158 yards and an INT … played in relief of Nick Foles @ Oak (11/3), finishing 2-of-3 for 13 yards … active but DNP the next two games and was inactive for the last five games and the Wild Card playoff game.
