Matt Caracciolo begins his first season with the Cardinals as Football Operations Coordinator after being hired in June, 2012. Caracciolo joins the Cardinals after spending the past seven seasons with the New England Patriots, serving the last six years as Director of Football Operations.
With the Cardinals, Caracciolo’s responsibilities include managing day to day football operations, training camp and mini-camp operations and also directing the team’s travel.
Caracciolo joined the Patriots in 2005 as a football operations assistant after spending the 2003 and 2004 seasons with the Miami Dolphins as a scouting intern. He previously served as an operations graduate assistant at Syracuse from 2001-03 while earning a master’s degree in Higher Education.
The Oceanside, NY native has one older brother, Pete, and two younger brothers, Mike and Tom. Pete works for the Oakland Raiders in football operations and player programs, while Tom works in football operations for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Caracciolo played two seasons at Ithaca College where he also received a degree in Sports Information and Communication in 2001.
