Game-Day Radio Programming
Cardinals games will be simulcast on Arizona Sports 620 (AM) and News/Talk 92.3 KTAR (FM). Arizona Sports 620 will also air non game day programming that includes the Big Red Rage with Kerry Rhodes.
If there is a scheduling conflict with the Suns or Diamondbacks, all of the Cardinals game day programming will air on News/Talk 92.3 KTAR while the baseball or basketball game will be carried on Arizona Sports 620.
Calling the play-by-play for his 12th straight season with the Cardinals will be Dave Pasch. He joined the Cardinals in 2002 after three seasons as the football and basketball voice of Syracuse University. In addition to Cardinals broadcasts, Pasch can be seen on ESPN calling NBA and college football and basketball.
Joining Pasch for his ninth year as the radio analyst will be Ron Wolfley, a four-time Pro Bowl selection and special teams standout with the Cardinals, who selected him in the fourth round of the 1985 draft. One-half of the "Doug and Wolf Show" on Arizona Sports 620, the Buffalo, NY native played collegiately at West Virginia before enjoying a 10-year NFL career with the Cardinals (1985-91), Browns (1992-93) and Rams (1995).
Sports 620 KTAR Radio personality and Cardinals Reporter Paul Calvisi will return to offer sideline commentary on the game broadcasts.
Game-day programming begins three hours prior to kickoff on Arizona Sports 620 (AM) and News/Talk 92.3 KTAR (FM) with "The NFL Kickoff Show.” Former Cardinals running back Damien Anderson joins azcardinals.com writer Darren Urban to discuss the upcoming Cardinals matchup and the latest news from around the NFL.
Two hours prior to kickoff, Calvisi will be joined by former Cardinal running back Damien Anderson and former Cardinal linebacker Rob Fredrickson for the "Pre-Game Huddle."
"Cardinal Talk," a post-game call-in show hosted by Craig Grialou, can be heard immediately following each contest on News/Talk 92.3 KTAR and Arizona Sports 620. Cardinal Talk allows fans to give their opinion on each game and hear expert analysis.
Returning to the airwaves in 2013 is "The Big Red Rage." Live, from Majerles in Chandler for the third consecutive season, "The Big Red Rage" is hosted by Paul Calvisi and Ron Wolfley, who will be joined by Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell for each program. The show typically airs from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings throughout the season on Arizona Sports 620. If there is a scheduling conflict with a Diamondbacks or Suns game, check azcardinals.com for date and time changes.
In 2000, the Cardinals became the first professional team in Arizona to offer all games - preseason and regular season, home and away - on Spanish radio. For the fourth season, those broadcasts can again be heard on Jose FM 107.1 in Phoenix.
The broadcast team of Gabriel Trujillo (play-by-play), and former Cardinals offensive lineman Rolando Cantu (analyst) will be back again in 2012.
Trujillo returns for his 14th season of play-by-play with the Cardinals. From 2000-2005, he also called the action in Spanish for the Phoenix Suns. Cantu played with the Cardinals for two seasons (2005-06), and during the 2005 season, he became the first Mexican born player to ever take the field in an NFL regular season game. In addition to his broadcast duties, Cantu is also the team's Manager of International Business Affairs.
In addition to the game action, a pre-game show and a weekly talk show, "Primera Y Diez" ("First and Ten") can be heard in Spanish on Jose FM 107.1. The pre-game show begins one hour prior to kickoff for each game and "Primera Y Diez" airs live two hours prior to kickoff throughout the season.
