Biography

Dance background: I started dancing at a studio when I was two years old. In 8th grade I began cheerleading in a Pop Warner League and continued cheering throughout high school. My school didn’t offer a competitive dance team, so I started the dance club where I had the opportunity to perform for our school district’s shows, high school assemblies, and compete.

What personal accomplishment are you most proud of? I’m proud of moving away from my family and fulfilling my dancing dream.

What does being an AZCC mean to you? Being an AZCC motivates me to be a positive role model for young girls who aspire to continue their cheer/dance dreams.

Three words that best describe you: Positive, outgoing, adventurous

What are you looking forward to most this season as a Cardinals Cheerleader? I am looking forward to running out of the bird head onto the field for the first time as a vet and feeling that adrenaline rush.

What advice would you give your younger self? In life, some people want to see you fail. Don’t fall for their unkind words. Be you and believe that you can do anything you set your mind to.

Leidan Mitchell Stylist: Ashley U. – Chandler location

Personal motto/Favorite Quote: “Worry about loving yourself, instead of loving the idea of other people loving you.”

Favorite memory as a Cardinals Cheerleader: The locker room huddles before the games.
