Biography

PRO CAREER:

Selected by the Packers in the second round (45th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft and played his first three seasons (2018-20) with Green Bay. Traded to the New York Giants on 8/17/21 and was released on 10/26/21. Signed to the Chiefs practice squad on 10/29/21 and was elevated to the active roster on 12/11/21. Returned to the practice squad on 12/13/21 and was elevated to the active roster again on 12/25/21. Signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals on 6/16/21.

2021: Appeared in two games with the Chiefs and recorded two tackles … after starting season on the Giants roster, was released and signed to KC's practice squad on 10/29 … after being elevated the active roster the day prior, made his Chiefs debut vs. LV (12/12) and finished with one tackle … saw action vs. Pit (12/26) and posted two tackles on defense and one on special teams.

2020: Played 12 games (five starts) and recorded 24 tackles (21 solo), a tackle for a loss and two passes defensed ... added two tackles and two punt returns (for 13 yards) on special teams … played five snaps on defense and 19 on special teams, recording a pass defensed and returning one punt for six yards vs. Det (9/20); marked his third career punt return and first since 2018 ... one of two players (Adrian Amos) to play all 65 defensive snaps, finishing second on the team with six tackles @ TB (10/18); slashed into the backfield and stopped LeSean McCoy for a gain of 1 yard on third-n-2 to force a punt in the first quarter ... played all 68 defensive snaps as well as nine special teams plays, finishing with four solo tackles and a tackle for a loss @ Hou (10/25); in the first quarter, stopped David Johnson for a loss of 1-yard on third-n-1 to force a punt ... led the team with 56 defensive snaps played while also seeing action on special teams @ SF (11/5); finished with four tackles ... started in place of the injured Kevin King for the fifth straight week vs. Jax (11/15) and registered three tackles.

2018: Played all 16 games (10 starts) and posted 59 tackles (37 solo), a tackle for a loss, a QB pressure and finished second on the team with 13 passes defensed … added four tackles and recovered a blocked punt for a TD on special teams … was one of four rookie CBs in the NFL to play all 16 regular season games (Holton Hill – Vikings; Donte Jackson – Panthers; Parry Nickerson – Jets) … started as the third CB in his NFL debut vs. Chi (9/9), becoming the first Green Bay rookie CB to start in Week 1 since Sam Shields (2010); registered three tackles and a pass defensed …scored his first career TD midway through the first quarter vs. Min (9/16), recovering a Matt Wile punt that had been blocked by Geronimo Allison; caught the ball in the front of the end zone for the score, becoming the first Packer to score on a blocked punt since Dezman Moses in 2012; also had a tackle on special teams … recorded seven tackles (four solo) and two passes defensed vs. Buf (9/30); late in the first half broke up a Josh Allen pass intended for Kelvin Benjamin near the sideline; early in the fourth quarter, broke up a deep pass over the middle intended for Zay Jones on third down … finished with five tackles (three solo) and tied for the team lead with two passes defensed @ NE (11/4); midway through the third quarter, batted down a Tom Brady pass on 3rd-n-goal from the 1 that was intended for Chris Hogan; on the next series, put a hard hit on Julian Edelman on a short pass just as the ball arrived to break up the pass attempt … ranked second on the team with a career-high nine tackles (seven solo) and a pass defensed @ Min (11/25) … finished with three tackles (two solo) and two passes defensed vs. Atl (12/9); late in the fourth quarter, broke up a deep pass from Matt Ryan intended for Mohamed Sanu in the end zone; added a tackle on special teams, bringing down Marvin Hall at the ATL 8 on a second-quarter kickoff return after Hall fumbled the ball near the goal line … made a big fourth quarter play @ NYJ (12/23) when he broke up a deep pass from Sam Darnold to Robby Anderson near the sideline on third down.
