Biography

NoteCARDS:

  • Selected by the Cardinals in the first round (4th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. Was the first non-quarterback taken in the draft and the fourth player behind QBs Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye.
  • Along with his father - Hall of Fame WR Marvin Harrison Sr. - who was selected 19th overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1996 NFL Draft, became the first father-son WR duo to each be drafted in the first round in the Common Draft Era (since 1957).
  • Became just the third WR in franchise history to be selected by the Cardinals in the top five of the NFL Draft joining Larry Fitzgerald (3rd overall in 2004) and Ahmad Rashad (4th overall in 1972).
  • Finished his rookie season with 62 receptions for 885 yards (14.3 avg.) and eight TDs. His eight receiving TDs tied the franchise record for rookies. His 62 receptions and 885 receiving yards are the second most among Cardinals rookies trailing only Anquan Boldin (101 catches for 1,377 yards in 2023).
  • With at least one TD catch in Weeks 2-4 of 2024, joined Steve Lach (4, Weeks 1-4 in 1942) and Rob Awalt (3 games, Weeks 7-9 in 1987) as the only rookies in franchise history to have at least one TD catch in three-or-more consecutive games.
  • Had four catches for 130 yards and two TDs in the first quarter of his second NFL game (vs. LAR - 9/15/24), becoming the first Cardinals rookie since at least 1970 to have 100+ receiving yards and two TD receptions in a quarter.
  • With his Week 2 performance vs. the Rams, became first rookie with at least four catches and two TDs in the first quarter of game since his father accomplished the feat on 12/15/96 @ KC (4 catches, 87 yards, 2 TDs).
