Biography

Dance background: I was studio dance trained from the age of 3 until I joined the Varsity Dance Team in High School. In College, I danced with the club team and auditioned for the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders in 2016.

What personal accomplishment are you most proud of? I’m proud of myself for pursuing a degree and finding a career in a field where women are underrepresented. Although it continues to challenge me, I feel it’s so important to break stereotypes.

What does being an AZCC mean to you? I'm so thankful to be able to perform in front of thousands - that’s what I’m most passionate about after all. What's even better is that I get to do so alongside the most supportive group of women. To top it off, I’m impacting my community and inspiring children to also follow their dreams.

Three words that best describe you: Down-to-earth, ambitious, and practical

What are you looking forward to most this season as a Cardinals Cheerleader? Seeing the faces of the rookies on their first game day and watching them grow until the end of the season. For every additional year you’re on the team, you challenge yourself to lead by example and it’s rewarding to know that you impacted every rookie in some way.

What advice would you give your younger self? Don’t let someone else’s opinion of you control your happiness.

Personal motto/Favorite Quote: "Be humble. Be hungry. And always be the hardest worker in the room." - Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

Favorite memory as a Cardinals Cheerleader: My first favorite memory (I have many favorites) was calling my mom after making the team my rookie season. I was so excited that she couldn’t tell what I was saying. She goes, "Jacqueline! Is this good or bad?" That was the first time in my life that I was so happy I couldn’t form a sentence.
