You know it's getting close to the draft when those of us who do the Cardinals Underground podcast reconvene to put together a new episode, which can be found on the homepage. Actual news remains slow -- Karlos Dansby can't talk about his contract situation every day -- but I did get a chance to be in the war room for draft meetings for about five minutes today (had to go get a picture of coach Ken Whisenhunt and GM Rod Graves for the next issue of Sidelines magazine). The group was breaking down the scouting reports on a defensive lineman. It was fascinating, really, to hear all the buzz words used about a player and how he was graded, all while thinking that this player's future was being determined in large part by how these men -- and men in war rooms across the NFL -- viewed him.
