We're back here on a Monday after a long holiday weekend. I'm not taking any vacation from here on out, and the post-July 4th week has always been the downhill stretch toward training camp (not that I want it to necessarily get here any sooner). The rookies are around for a few more days, but even they get to go home at the end of the week for a bit before going to Flagstaff later this month (report day: July 29). I had the chance to climb Camelback Mountain with the draft picks Friday; I'll have a column about it later today. Saw where NFL.com, which had already ranked as one of the top defensive tackles, puts Adrian Wilson among the top three safeties. The Super Bowl run truly pushed Wilson into the national spotlight -- and definitely proved that winners get noticed. Meanwhile, the Steve McNair story is tragic and, given the details, will probably linger in the headlines for a while.
