On Sunday, Budda Baker was the valedictorian. It was clear to all those watching that the Cardinals' rookie safety had a whale of a game against the Texans, and PFF agreed wholeheartedly.

Baker was given an astonishing 99.9 overall grade, a perfect outing in his first career NFL start. Baker was a menace rushing the passer, as PFF had him registering a pressure on all three of his blitzes, including the strip-sack and fumble recovery in the second quarter.

He was also sticky in coverage, allowing two of three targets to be completed, but only for 18 yards, and had a critical fourth-quarter pass breakup. PFF credited Baker with nine tackles and three stops.

Baker, a second-round pick this season, has exuded a quiet confidence since he arrived with the Cardinals, and showed against Houston that it's well-founded.

"I felt very comfortable," Baker said.
