The Arizona Cardinals Football Club has been awarded four Clio Sports Awards for its ground-breaking schedule release song and music video titled "18 Bars."
The honors were awarded in the following categories:
- Silver Award in Branded Entertainment Content – Audio
- Silver Award in Fan Engagement – Use of Athlete/Talent/Influencer
- Bronze Award in Social Media – Use of Athlete/Talent/Influencer
- Shortlist Award in Branded Entertainment Content – Athlete Storytelling
"18 Bars" is an original work written and performed by linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. that was released on May 14 to coincide with the NFL's 2025 regular season schedule announcement. Wilson Sr., who performs under the name "Rocketship" collaborated with Bighead Music Group and producer Tye Beats to develop the first-of-its-kind schedule announcement that is available on most major music platforms including Apple Music and Sportify.
In promotion of the song, the Cardinals Content, Creative and Brand team produced a music video that is available on the Cardinals digital channels, including YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook.
Clio Sports, founded in 2014, is one of five verticals developed by the Clios to celebrate creative excellence in a specialized field. The program champions boundary-pushing marketing, advertising, and communications from the teams, leagues, brands, agencies, and media brands that shape sports culture. Each cycle, leaders from across the global sports industry convene to determine which entries will earn the prestigious Grand, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Clio Sports Awards.
