Done with practice until Tampa

Under a glorious sunny sky, the Cards wrapped up practice for the week today. They are off tomorrow, and leave first thing Monday morning for Tampa.

The players were all clamoring to pick up their Super Bowl tickets after practice, almost like they wouldn't get to go to the game without them. It's not cheap proposition either -- after two comps, the players can buy up to 13 more, and most guys looked like they maxed out (and then they were trying to trade with teammates in an attempt to keep their families and friends all together).

Coach Ken Whisenhunt was just happy the ticket situation was going to be out of the way. Injury-wise, Whisenhunt said defensive end Travis LaBoy, who is wearing a special brace on his injured bicep, is doing OK but the Cards will "more of a focused look" at LaBoy at practice next week to see how limited -- if he is limited at all -- LaBoy will be in the game. Running back J.J. Arrington (knee) is also expected to give practice a go next week after sitting this week.

Next up, the flight out of Sky Harbor Monday morning and the accompanying sendoff rally.
