It was probably one of the worst-kept secrets ever, but Larry Fitzgerald was officially named the "Madden 2010" cover boy just a few moments ago, along with Steelers safety Troy Polamalu. Fitz is in New York for the announcement, but I hope to catch up with him some time this morning. Fitz becomes the second player to have been a cover boy for both EA Sports' NCAA Football game and the Madden franchise, after he was on the college game back in 2004 when he was a Cardinals rookie. Running back Shaun Alexander was the other player who has pulled such a double.
