Arizona Cardinals Home: The official source of the latest Cardinals headlines, news, videos, photos, tickets, rosters and game day information

Not Much News

With the Cards ready for their first night practice of camp tonight, there was little news coming from coach Ken Whisenhunt's noon press conference. The short media session was mostly about injuries. DE Jason Banks hurt his knee and will have it checked out. RB Beanie Wells' ankle is improving, and Whisenhunt is hoping he can return to practice by next week, although it's certainly not a given Beanie will be available for the preseason opener at Pittsburgh. WR Early Doucet is doing better, but Whiz wasn't as sure as Doucet was the other day that Doucet would be back in a week. Again, the Steelers' game could be a tough one for Doucet to play.
