Stephens-Howling emotional

Just finished the conference call with seventh-round pick LeRod Stephens-Howling, and the young running back could help but break down crying on the conference call while he was answering questions, especially when he was talking about losing his starting job in college to LeSean McCoy and then going on to be drafted.

"If I didn't love this game, I could have sat back on the side, pouting and watching my time at Pitt go by, and I just ..." Stephens-Howling said, tears clearly starting to flow. "I just appreciated my family and all the support to keep me going.

"This day has been a dream all my life," he continued through his crying. "I've been told all my life I could never do it because of my size. I am just ready to go train right now. I can't wait to come in and do whatever I can for the team."
