NAME: Cardinals not sure what they'll get from Kellen Moore
There are always unknowns Week 1 and while Kellen Moore is unknown as a head coach, he is well-known as a creative and successful playcaller. Throughout his career as an offensive coordinator, Moore was top of the pack in almost every statistical category including yard and point differential, regardless of his personnel. Head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis both praised Moore's ability to adjust his personnel to create an advantage and change up the tempo in which he calls a game to keep a defense on its toes. Moore will be calling offensive plays for the Saints and despite the unknowns at quarterback, Moore has proven his ability to win games with a range of QBs. Both Gannon and Rallis have experience coaching against Moore at previous stops and hope to turn the tide on Moore's winning record.

NUMBER: Saints usually show out to start the season
Going into New Orleans, a hostile environment, is enough of a challenge for the Cardinals. Sunday's game becomes even tougher when their season opener streak is considered. Since 2019, the Saints hold the longest active Week 1 winning streak at 6-0. Of those six games, only one has been away from the Superdome. In recent years, the Cardinals have struggled in opening matchups. Their most recent Week 1 victory came in 2021 against the Titans in the famous five-sack game for Chandler Jones. With an improved pass rush in the wings, as the Cardinals get set to face a young Saints squad, the task of snapping NOLA's win streak is at the top of their list.

NUANCE: Offensive line under the spotlight for Cardinals
Continuity is important. And no position group is that more true for than the offensive line. The Cardinals used nine different O-line combinations, including six over the final eight games, last season. The good news? Well, the good news is this week's projected starting group: LT Paris Johnson Jr., LG Evan Brown, C Hjalte Froholdt, RG Isaiah Adams, and RT Jonah Williams, were one of the few five-man combos to work in back-to-back weeks in 2025. (For those wondering, it was Weeks 14 and 15 against the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, respectively.) Also, there will be a lot of eyeballs on Adams. He's the newbie of the group, at least in terms of games played. Adams, though, did impress during #CardsCamp, the joint practice in Denver and preseason. Now, can he carry over that success into the regular season? And -- knock on wood --can all five remain healthy?
