Practice is over, and in a couple of minutes coach Ken Whisenhunt will address the media. As expected, running back J.J. Arrington (knee) sat out, but we'll have an updated injury report soon. Anquan Boldin also spoke, laughing at the firestorm his argument/leaving the field caused. He said the issue was dead, he simply wanted to avoid the media (and admitted that might not have been a great choice) and that he was excited about playing for a championship. It won't affect the team, Boldin added, and his demeanor seemed to say that.
"It's a new day, we're in the Super Bowl, so naw, I'm not mad," Boldin said. UPDATE: Here is a longer story on Boldin's presser.
