Wondering About Early's Leap

As we wait for coach Ken Whisenhunt to talk here at lunch, we also wait to see if there is news about wide receiver Early Doucet, who made a spectacular, full-out, leaping lay out catch on a Matt Leinart throw but came down hard and was down for a couple of minutes. He seemed to be favoring his left arm somewhere, but who knows. Again, hopefully Whisenhunt will have an update. There were already a couple more guys sitting out -- we haven't heard yet why CB Bryant McFadden and DT Gabe Watson missed the morning practice.

UPDATE: Doucet hurt his left shoulder and Whisehunt said he is having an MRI right now. McFadden has a slight ankle sprain he hurt making his pick play against Fitz yesterday. Watson has a sore knee and sat out this morning as a precaution.

P.S. Just ducked into the cafeteria to see if a certain player was around, and lo and behold, the NFC Championship game is on NFL Network again for lunch viewing.
