Jared Veldheer was searching for answers during the first five games of the season, and it seems he has found them.

The Cardinals' dependable left tackle went through some growing pains as he moved to the right side but has corrected course over the past three games.

Through five weeks, Veldheer allowed a total of three sacks, three quarterback hits, and 21 hurries for an average of 5.4 total pressures per game, according to Pro Football Focus. In the past three games, he has allowed no sacks, one hit and two hurries, an average of one pressure per game.

Veldheer has graded out among the better tackles in the NFL in that three-game span, highlighted by an 80.8 grade last time out when he didn't allow a pressure to the 49ers. Offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin said the increase in productivity has been due to mental strides.

"Don't think about it, just play," Goodwin said. "That's the biggest thing I would tell him. He stopped thinking about it. He stopped putting too much pressure on himself. He's gone out and been who he's been in the past. Just a solid player in run and pass (protection). That's what he's starting to do."

The Cardinals' offensive line did a nice job overall against the 49ers, allowing only two pressures, which was the fewest allowed in the NFL on Sunday, per PFF. They will aim to keep it up against the more formidable Seattle front.
