Tre Boston's jersey number might have read '38' this preseason, but it was never something etched in stone.
In fact, the Cardinals safety used white athletic tape to cover that number at his locker, replacing it with 'TBD.' Boston wanted to wear No. 33, the digits he had donned since entering the NFL, and found his way back into that jersey at Monday's practice.
Sixth-round pick Christian Campbell previously wore No. 33, but was released on Saturday, paving the way for Boston's switch.
"I was fortunate enough to make plays in it," Boston said. "It's something I just wanted to keep."
Boston previously said he wouldn't be posting any photos to social media wearing No. 38. Now that he's back to No. 33, expect to see an uptick of activity.
"I'm waiting for all my pics to come up so I can upload them ASAP," Boston said. "After this weekend, y'all can look for a nice little '33' action pic."
