Jay Razzano was elevated to assistant to the head coach on 2/20/26 and is in his sixth season with the Cardinals. He spent the past four years (2022-25) as a coaching assistant where he also worked with the team's defensive backs.
Razzano began his time with the Cardinals as a seasonal equipment manager for the 2021 season following three seasons at his alma mater, San Diego State. He worked for the Aztecs as a student equipment manager in 2020 after spending two seasons (2018-19) as a recruiting and operations intern. Â
He started his career in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders in 2019 as an equipment intern during training camp. His father, Dave, was a longtime scout in the NFL, including working with the Cardinals college scouting staff between 2006-09.
Razzano graduated from San Diego State with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration Marketing in 2021.
