Chad Jenkins enters his sixth season with the Cardinals scouting department and third as the team's representative with the National Football Scouting service following his promotion in May, 2021. He originally joined the Cardinals in June, 2018 as a scouting assistant and spent three years (2018-20) in that role.
Prior to joining the Cardinals, he worked one season (2017) with Tennessee State as a quality control/tight ends coach. Jenkins earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Alabama State University, a master's degree in Sports and Fitness Management from Troy University and a master's degree in Liberal Arts from Tulane University.
Jenkins remained at Alabama State following graduation to serve as an offensive quality control coach for the Hornets (2009-11) and also spent training camp in 2010 with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an operations intern. For the next five years, Jenkins held various titles at Tulane including defensive/special teams quality control (2011), offensive graduate assistant/running backs and tight ends coach (2012), defensive line and linebackers coach/special teams graduate assistant (2012-15) and assistant director of player personnel (2015).
He also served as an assistant football coach and taught history at St. Augustine High School in his hometown of New Orleans, LA.
