Held monthly in the winter, spring and fall, each camp consists of a short motivational speech by a current or former Cardinal player and an interactive play area comprised of stations designed for the teaching of non-contact football skills such as catching and throwing.
In its 19th year, the Cardinals "Player-of-the-Week" award is selected by a local sports panel consisting of Cardinals defensive lineman Corey Peters, 12 News sports anchor Cameron Cox, former high school football coach Kelly Epley, former 12 News sports anchor Bruce Cooper, high school broadcaster Michael Carotenuto, and Arizona Republic/azcentral.com high school writer Richard Obert.
