The Arizona Cardinals, in partnership with presenting sponsor Desert Financial Credit Union, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and the Close Up Foundation, proudly hosted the fourth annual Civics Matters Arizona trip to Washington, D.C.

The Cardinals, Desert Financial, the Close Up Foundation and Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs team to send 275 students to Washington D.C. to learn about how the country is governed.

The Arizona Cardinals embarked on their third-annual Arizona Civics Matters trip this month. Almost 300 students were brought on an all-expense paid trip to the nation's capital. The students had the opportunity to learn about government, and politics, and visit museums and monuments. Students heard from Congressman Juan Ciscomani and U.S. Senator Mark Kelly.

The Cardinals, Governor Katie Hobbs and Close-Up send 275 students to Washington D.C. to learn more about the country's government, flying out the group on the team plane.

The Cardinals were one of the hosts to take deserving kids on the annual Civics Matters trip to Washington D.C. in 2023.
