Civics Matters Arizona is a statewide program of the Arizona Cardinals that empowers students through interactive learning, civic leadership experiences, and opportunities to engage with their communities. Arizona Cardinals 5th Annual Civics Matters Trip

The Arizona Cardinals, alongside presenting partners Desert Financial Credit Union and Gallagher, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and the Close Up Foundation, hosted the fifth annual Civics Matters Arizona trip to Washington, D.C. Approximately 280 Arizona high school students traveled to the nation's capital for an immersive civics experience, visiting iconic historical and governmental landmarks.

2024 Civics Matters Recap

The Arizona Cardinals embarked on their third-annual Arizona Civics Matters trip this month. Almost 300 students were brought on an all-expense paid trip to the nation's capital. The students had the opportunity to learn about government, and politics, and visit museums and monuments. Students heard from Congressman Juan Ciscomani and U.S. Senator Mark Kelly.
