Another prominent member of the Cardinals is pitching in to aid coronavirus relief efforts.

Chandler Jones is donating more than 150,000 meals to food banks in Arizona and his home state of New York to help those severely impacted by the global pandemic. The Cardinals outside linebacker is contributing to St. Mary's Food Bank and Midwest Food Bank in Arizona along with Mother Teresa's Cupboard through the Catholic Charities of Broome County in New York.

"These are really tough times and it is important for me to do my part and help out both here in Arizona and back at home in New York," Jones said in a press release. "There are a lot of people in need and everything we can do as a community makes a difference."

Jones is the latest person in the Cardinals' organization to step up in this challenging time.

Chairman and president Michael Bidwill said on Tuesday the team would donate $1 million to the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund. Radio play-by-play announcer Dave Pasch has led an effort to pay the bills of struggling families in the Phoenix area.
