Pro Career:

Originally signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent on 5/6/22. Released by the Jets on 9/5/22 and re-signed to the team's practice squad on 9/6/22. Signed to the Jets active roster on 10/25/22. Released by the Jets on 8/28/23. Signed to the Lions practice squad on 8/31/23. Signed to the Lions active roster from Detroit's practice squad on 9/20/23. Re-signed with the Lions on 3/7/24. Released by the Lions on 8/26/24. Signed to the Jets practice squad on 11/26/24. Signed a future contract with the Cardinals on 1/8/25.

2023: Appeared in two regular season games with Detroit … had three carries for 13 yards vs. Atl (9/24) … registered one reception for eight yards vs. Car (10/8).

2022: Played seven games (four starts) and ran for 300 yards and one TD on 85 carries along with 13 receptions for 100 yards … made his NFL debut vs. Chi (11/27) and ran for 69 yards on 14 carries and added three receptions for 34 yards … rushed for a career-high 90 yards on 15 carries (6.0 avg.) to pair with career highs in receptions (five) and receiving yards (28) @ Min (12/4) … had 17 carries for 71 yards and his first career TD @ Buf (12/11); added two receptions for six yards … totaled 23 rushing yards on 13 carries vs. Det (12/18) … caught one pass for 15 yards vs. Jax (12/22) … had eight carries for 27 yards and two caches for 17 yards @ Sea (1/1/23) … ran for 22 yards in the season finale @ Mia (1/8/23).

State and finished his college career having played in 36 games with 419 carries for 2,286 rushing yards (5.5 avg.) and 18 TDs along with 48 receptions for 337 yards … also had 879 yards and three TDs on 29 kickoff returns (30.3 avg.) … his 5.5 career rushing average was a school record … in his final season in 2021, appeared in all 12 games and ran for 753 yards (5.5 avg.) and three TDs on 140 carries, while also recording 21 receptions for 156 yards; also totaled 550 yards and two TDs on 16 kickoff returns (30.3 avg.) … earned All-ACC honors in 2020 after playing 12 games and rushing for a career and team-high 788 yards (5.5 avg) and 10 TDs on 143 carries, while hauling in 20 catches for 136 yards; added 329 yards and one TD on 13 kickoff returns (25.3 avg.) … as a freshman in 2019, appeared in all 12 games with seven starts and earned the team's Torry Holt Offensive Player of the Year Award after rushing for 745 yards and five TDs on 136 carries (5.5 avg.) to go with seven receptions for 45 yards.

Attended Southern Nash (Bailey, NC) High School where he was the school's all-time leading rusher with 5,073 yards and 71 rushing TDs … as a senior in 2018, rushed for 2,054 yards (16.6 avg) and 26 TDs … selected to the 2018 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star Game and named North Carolina's Offensive MVP after finishing with 148 rushing yards and a TD … topped 1,000 yards during his sophomore and junior seasons, tallying 1,877 yards and 27 TDs as a junior and 1,142 yards and 18 TDs as a sophomore … majored in Criminology.
