  • Selected by the Cardinals in the second round (36th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Washington. Has signed two contract extensions - 8/25/20 (4 years) and 12/18/24 (3 years) - with Arizona, the latter of which will keep with the Cardinals through the 2027 season.
  • Voted a team captain for the fifth consecutive year in 2024.
  • Earned his seventh Pro Bowl (sixth consecutive as a starter at safety) in 2024. Became just the second player in Cardinals history to receive at least seven Pro Bowl nods in his first eight NFL seasons joining Patrick Peterson (8).
  • Leads all NFL DBs in total tackles (874) and solo tackles (603) since entering the NFL in 2017.
  • Has 33 career outings with double-digit tackles, which easily leads all NFL DBs dating back to 2017. Had a team-high seven games with 10+ tackles in 2024, which also led all NFL DBs.
  • Earned his fourth All-Pro selection and his third at safety in 2024 (selected as a first team special teamer in 2017, first team safety in 2020 and second team safety in 2021). Baker (3) joined Hall of Famer Larry Wilson (5 from 1966-70) and Adrian Wilson (4 from 2006-09) as the only players in team history to earn 3+ All-Pro selections (first or second team) at safety.
  • Established career highs with 164 tackles and 10 tackles for loss in 2024. Added five passes defensed, three QB hits, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble. His 164 tackles were the second most in NFL in 2024 - regardless of position - and the most by a Cardinals defender since at least 1991.
  • Reached 100 tackles in 2024 in just 10 games, becoming the first Cardinal since at least 1991 to have 100+ tackles through the first 10 weeks of a season.
  • Ranked second on the team with 87 tackles (five for loss) in 2023 despite missing five games due to injury. Marked his sixth consecutive season of 85+ tackles, the longest active streak among NFL DBs.
  • Led the team with 111 tackles in just 15 games in 2022, adding seven passes defensed, two INTs, two QB hits and a fumble recovery.
  • In 2021, was named a team captain and earned Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors after posting 98 tackles and establishing career-best marks in INTs (three) and passes defensed (seven). Also added a fumble recovery, six tackles for loss and three QB hits.
  • Named a team captain for the first time in his career in 2020, earned first-team All-Pro honors and was selected to his third Pro Bowl (second consecutive at safety) after tying for the NFL lead among DBs with 118 tackles while adding seven tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, three QB hits, two INTs, six passes defensed and a forced fumble in 15 games (all starts).
  • Named "NFC Defensive Player of the Month" in October of 2020 and "NFC Defensive Player of the Week" in Week 6 of the 2020 season. Became just the fourth player in franchise history to earn "NFC Defensive Player of the Month" honors after totaling 31 tackles, 2.0 sacks, two INTs (90 return yards), three tackles for loss, three QB hits, two passes defensed and a forced fumble in just three games.
  • Earned his second Pro Bowl nod (first as a safety) in 2019 after all 16 games and leading all NFL DBs with a career-high 147 tackles (including a league-high 104 solo tackles). Added seven tackles for loss, six passes defensed, six QB hits, a half-sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
  • In 2018, appeared in 14 games (13 starts) and totaled 107 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, three QB pressures, four QB hits, two passes defensed, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries (one returned 36 yards for his first career TD); one of just three NFL safeties with 100+ tackles, 2.0+ sacks and 8+ tackles for loss in 2018, according to league statistics.
  • Named first-team All-Pro and was voted to the Pro Bowl for his work on special teams as a rookie in 2017 after he led the Cardinals and ranked third in the NFL with 16 special teams tackles. One of just four rookies named to the Pro Bowl in 2017 and became just the fifth Cardinals rookie since the 1970 merger to earn the honor.
  • During a remarkable prep career at Bellevue High School, won five team state titles (three in football, two in track & field) and eight individual state titles in track & field. In football, he played on three consecutive 14-0 teams that won three consecutive 3A state championships.
