Biography

NoteCARDS:

  • Joined Arizona on a two-year deal via free agency on 3/14/25.
  • Has played with the Patriots (2016, 2024), Colts (2017-20), Dolphins (2021), Browns (2022) and Commanders during his NFL career. Has appeared in 87 regular season games (53 starts) and completed 1,076-of-1,761 passes (61.1%) for 11,400 yards, 53 TDs and a passer rating of 84.3 to pair with 245 carries for 977 yards (4.0 avg.) and 15 TDs on the ground.
  • Entering the 2025 season, has averaged the fewest interceptions per attempt in NFL history, with 1.4 interceptions per 100 passes (min. 1,500 career pass attempts).
  • Won Super Bowl LI his rookie year with the Patriots. Has played in one postseason game in his career.
  • Named NFC Offensive Player of the Week (Week 7) in 2019 after completing 26-of-39 passes (66.7%) for career highs of 326 yards and four TDs.
  • Named the Colts 2020 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year for his dedication to community service.
  • Comes to AZ with several Cardinals ties. GM Monti Ossenfort was New England's Director of College Scouting when the Patriots drafted Brissett in 2016. He and head coach Jonathan Gannon spent three seasons together in Indianapolis (2018-20). Offensive coordinator Drew Petzing served as his position coach with the Browns in 2022. Quarterbacks coach Israel Woolfork was also on Cleveland's staff that season.
