Appeared in 44 games in four seasons (2015-18) at TCU, finishing his college career with 82 tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss, 14.5 sacks, an INT and five passes defensed … as a senior in 2018, was a first-team AP All-Big 12 selection from the conference's head coaches and Pro Football Focus, which gave him the highest grade among edge rushers in the Big 12 … recorded a career high 6.0 sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss, while also tying for third on the team with four passes defensed … as a junior in 2017,  played in all 14 games and recorded 4.0 sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss … finished with four tackles against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship Game and recorded his first career INT in the win at No. 6 Oklahoma State … as a sophomore in 2016, played in 13 games and had 21 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks … saw action in four games as a freshman in 2015 … redshirted as a true freshman in 2014.

Attended Mundy (TX) High School where he was named the District 8-A Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior in 2013, while also earning first-team all-conference honors as a tight end … caught 22 passes for 465 yards as a junior and earned Defensive MVP honors in the state title game when he returned his only INT of the season 36 yards for a TD … named first-team all-district on defense as a sophomore in 2011.
