Tight end Zach Ertz was named the Cardinals' Walter Payton Man of the Year for 2022.

In celebration of the holiday season, DeAndre Hopkins along with his fellow teammates and coach Kliff Kingsbury served 500+ meals on Thanksgiving Day to families experiencing homelessness. The event featured home cooked meals, Arizona Cardinals giveaways, family photo areas, and more. Through collaboration with local chefs, bakers, and small businesses, DeAndre was able to provide all of the families at UMOM New Day Center with an unforgettable Thanksgiving experience! On Tuesday, several members of the Cardinals made a visit to Luke Air Force Base to learn more about the day-to-day lives of our troops. LB Dennis Gardeck was also lucky enough to catch a ride in a an F-16 to cap off the day.

The Cardinals, State Farm, Chicanos Por La Causa, APS, Raza Development Fund, and Greater Phoenix Leadership all gave a hand in furthering the effort of Governor Doug Ducey to get civics back into the classroom, flying 241 students from Title 1 schools for a educational trip to Washington, D.C.

The Arizona Cardinals teamed up with the Phoenix Police Department, Tempe Fire Department and Fulfillment In Training (F.I.T.) to host the second annual Bigger Than Football event for the Phoenix Unified High School District. The two-part event featured a Healing Starts Here forum directly followed by a Nike 7-on-7 Tournament + Big Man Challenge.

At State Farm Stadium, linebacker Dennis Gardeck and Cardinals alumni hosted a football camp for girls, ages 6-12, to teach the basic fundamentals of football.
