On Friday, the Cardinals celebrated the one-year anniversary of construction on the new Cardinals Stadium in the West Valley with a special noon-time celebration that was held on the stadium concourse.

Cardinals cheerleaders were on hand for the festivities which also featured a barbecue and a ceremonial anniversary cake for the approximately 500 workers on the site.

Also representing the Cardinals was Vice President-General Counsel Michael Bidwill. In addition, Charlie Prewitt, project manager for Hunt Construction Group updated those in attendance on the progress of the stadium project.
