The Cardinals continued to make tweaks to the roster Wednesday when they activated tight end Demetrius Harris from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Wide receiver A.J. Green remains on the Covid list for now, but the Cardinals are hoping they will still be able to get him back soon.
Teams get a one-day exemption for players coming off the Covid list, so for now, no other 53-man roster moves were needed.
The Cardinals did adjust the practice squad on Wednesday however, signing three: long snapper Kyle Nelson, a long-time 49er; tight end Alex Ellis, who has spent time with seven teams; and wide receiver Darrius Shepard, who had six catches in two stints with the Packers.
Nelson is right now the most important after long snapper Aaron Brewer broke his right arm Sunday against the 49ers. Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Brewer will be out "a number of weeks." Brewer is a likely IR candidate sometime this week when the team needs roster spots.
